| REVIEW | |||
| CORNER PEGS DOMINATE. Once again the Carp seemed preoccupied with spawn and spawning. With the water temperature rising to a year high of 69 deg F the Carp had little else on their minds. S Smith (Team: Clive Smith) drew corner peg 37 and consistently took fish for a winning 121-08. In the opposite corner was runner-up J Knight (Willow Creek) on Peg 40 who took one of the better weights to returned for a while with 100-08. Rolf had mentioned that by fishing back towards peg 39 would produce good sport for the Willow Creek angler. Elsewhere Tony Kent took 90lb+ from the ever consistent Peg 8. Other backing weights from 4th to 10th were split by a single good fish. Sport will improve in the coming weeks now the fish seem to have got most of the spawning out of the way. Peg 25 now leads the Hot Pegz Leader board (Golden Pegs 6, 27, 28, 34) Book Early for the Next Weekend - Once again Very Few Pegs remaining” |
