Higgins (Oxford Match Group) Drawn on one of the more fancied
pegs - Peg 37, fished directly in front of his peg following a short
non productive forage into the small patch of reeds that grow towards
the corner.
Fishing
with Pellet hook baits, the switch worked well for Ian as he took
a number of good fish in his 174lb winning return. Ian also sat
on one of the Golden Pegs to boost his Pools money. Overall a popular
win for the local based angler.

Lees (Oxford Match Group) took fish from the far bank at
Peg 8 for runners up spot with 134lb 12oz to make it an Oxford MG
1-2 in the Rolfslake Saturday Match.

- Carp continue to spawn and patrol in large shoals of mostly non
feeding fish. Although the fish a visible and very active, getting
a bite for most anglers seems to be hard work |
