| REVIEW | |||
| Out of form Peg 34 produced a 26-8 Common Carp (new lake record) and fish of 14, 16 and a number of 10 pounders for first time visitor Mr T Kelly. Mr T Kelly fished 3ft from the bank close to therope that guards the lilly pads to land the succession of BIG Carp for a winning 96-08. Elsewhere the lake was again very slow going. Fish have started to spawn in certain areas and have better things on their minds other than eating!! Once again, a majority of anglers were drawn to the fish rolling on the top with no success. Those that concentrated on (or switched early to) an approach on the deck with meat or pellet over tightly feed pellet topped the frame. Runner up, Swindon backed John Bennett did just that for a welcome 75-00 from peg 9. Not for the first time Trabucco's Andy Johnstone just missed the top money by one fish. “Book Early for the Next Weekend - Very Few Pegs remaining” |
