GARY
TAKES GOLD AND SILVER!
Gary
Thorpe (Ton Up Baits) Drawn on Peg 13,
Gary spend most of the match fighting the wind at 16m. However,
with a few fish in the bag (and a presumed good winning margin)
the sly matchman noticed that no one had set about the silver fish.
A quick change to maggots on an inside line to produce a quick 5lb.
As such, Gary won both sets of coin! Incidentally, Gary took the
Carp on sweetcorn and pellets fished on the deck back towards peg
14.
Chris
Davies
(Prestwood and Dist) - Peg 24 was a steady winter
peg last year and lake regular Chirs Davies made no errors after
drawing it in the Saturday match. Chris fished at 16m and took his
fish on sweetcorn and pellet fished hard on the deck in an uncomfortable
wind.
Elsewhere.
Very Slow. Bitter winds and non stop rain kept the weighing in to
a limited few as most tipped back the odd carp in favor of getting
to a dry and warm car at the all out.
