Peter Continues Good form!

Winner Peter Coxhead

Peter Coxhead (Windsor Angling) continued his good run of match places with yet another win in August from Peg 9. Peter like most others fished with paste just 5m out to take 181-12oz. Following the amazing weights midweek, most anglers struggled for bites as a cooling wind had dropped water temperature.

Bernie Fraser (Ton Up Baits) once again the bridesmaid behind Peter, took 149lb from peg 34, again fishing paste but presenting the bait tight against the bank in the popular corner peg.

Elsewhere - Gary Thorpe took a good 120lb from Peg 19 as the only other angler to take a ton. Following his World Record mid week, it must have seemed like a bit of a struggle to take less than a 3rd of the weight in nearly twice the time!!!
