Once again Steve Liston proved that he can not put a foot wrong, either at the draw bag nor the bank side, by winning the latest Rolfslake Open from Peg 37 with a staggering 295lb 8oz.
In Very Hot conditions most anglers found the going very hard with Carp cruising on the top. However, with just a few feet of water on top of the bar at Peg 37, Steve was able to keep the Carp in a feeding mood for most of the match and hauled a near 300lb return to the scales at the final whistle.
I would love to have be able to write Steve up for a better review, however, I was 4000 miles away at the time and picked up the results on my recent return.
I apologise for the late posting on the web site. As of the 19th Aug 04 I am back and normal service will resume with results posted in most cases just hours after a match. Many Thanks. Lloyd.
