Slow going. Plenty of fish moving but very few feeding today. Even Rolfslake can have an off day. Still there is always tomorrow for a better and bigger catch.

It was slow going in the Verulan Fishing Club match at Rolfslake this Sunday. However the sun did sine and most anglers enjoyed some good sport.
On Peg Steve Burfoot to a good number of doubles in his winning catch of 168lb 8oz. Steve fished down the edge over pellet with paste on the hook for most of the bites but like most of the anglers around him he also struggled in early part of the match. Most of the excitment today came from Dan Patrick and his wandering pole.......
