Fishing tight to the far bank the Ton Up Baits backed angler Stan Robak took a total of 185lb to win the Rolfslake Saturday Open. Stan fed heavy with 4mm Ton Up Pellet and fished a 6mm pellet on the hook tight to the far side grass (about 14.5m)

In a tight encounter it was Peg 34 and John Lees that ended up as runners up. With a 150lb + return it was just a matter of a few good fish that was the difference between the two Ton Up Baits backed anglers. John caught a good number of his fish tight to the bank and towards the 5 buoy on Pellet Baits over 4mm Pellet feed.
Elsewhere
Plenty of fish to be had in most pegs. Spraying working well and a few fish starting to show on the paste, although the Carp are not yet going mad for the Soft Stuff!
