Review

Dan Jones (Startlets)

Drawn in C Section (The Flyers) Startlets Dan Jones managed to keep his nose in front in a very tight match from Peg 17. Having started fishing on the deck at 14m Dan managed to take a few fish prior to a switch to 16m up in the water.

Also from C Section, on Peg 34, Russell Alexander (Rolfs Lake) made the most of a favorable wind to finish 2nd overall; he caught the majority of his ton weight in the first half of the match fishing with pellet at 15 metres to the 9th buoy.

Gary Thorpe (TUB) made the most of Peg 26 (also C Section) by fishing pellet up in the water for 3rd place overall.

Elsewhere

Matt McDermott (Mosella) won A Section with pellet-caught fish from Peg 19 fishing down the edge and at 7 & 11m in front.

B Section was won by Andy 'Picasso' Johnstone (Tek-Neek Trabucco Elite) from Peg 7 fishing at 16 metres with pellet/maggot hook baits. However, Picasso did demonstrate a new 'Tek-Neek' in landing Carp - instead of standing to land a fish Andy found himself vertically challenged and resorted to standing on his BOX!!
