Warm weather, sunshine and a mild breeze. All this and the fishing was reported as only average for the time of year. There were plenty of Carp up in the water but they refused to feed in any numbers. Bernie Fraser (Ton Up Baits) continued his good form with a win from Peg 6. Bernie fed heavy with 4mm sinker and fished a soft 6mm hooker at 13m. Russell Alexander took 2nd spot from 7, nextdoor, fishing a long 16m towards the lillie's/bank.

An Osprey? flew over Rolfslake today. Not much else to report. Unlike the angler at Peg 10, it later took a fish too! |
Rolfs highlight of the day was photographing an Osprey over the lake. I apologize for the late and shortened report, but I've been away at a family funeral - normal service will resume weekend of the 10th April. |
