Bernie Fraser won from the Golden Peg AGAIN today to make it two Golden Peg wins in as many weeks. Bernie has had an extraordinary run of match wins from a collection of decent Pegs and a few poor ones too. Today Bernie fished Peg 37 and alternated between the Gravel Bar at 11m and the slightly deeper water at 15m. Fishing 6mm hook pellet over smaller loose fed offerings was the key to his 142lb 12oz winning weight.

Stan Robak made up the best of the rest with 85lb ahead of Dave Wightman on Peg 18 with 84lb. Just to prove what a tight match it was, Gary Thorpe took 80lb from peg 38 for a section win and was left to reflect on a few lost fish that cost him 2nd place.... Elsewhere, plenty of fish cruising around enjoying the sunshine.
