Boxmoor Social Club . Boxmoor Social Club returned to Rolfslake for a bag'up session but failed to return the massive weights that had become the normal over the last few weeks. Low pressure and a dip in temperature was blamed for the slowing of the sport, but all the same some good weights did manage to make it to the scales and everyone had a good match. Plenty of bites on the paste but many fished didn't seem t0o interested in shallow baits or heavy feed.
Del Smith ran away with the win from Peg 37 with plenty of fish to double figures in a 300lb+ winning weight. Del fished paste and fed pellet in the shallow lake for some great sport. Ken Williams sat opposite Del, on peg 4, and took 120lb 8oz for runners up spot. Sam Beasley took 3rd place but failed to break the ton with 98lb, just one fish short of adding to his total of ton plus weights. |
