Rolfs' Diary 2006

Sunday Match - Total Fishing.com .
Sunday 23rd July 2006

There were an unlucky 13 Ton Plus weights and one match winning double Ton in the Total Fishing Club Match this Sunday at Rolfslake. The Total Fishing guys returned as regular visitors to the Oxford match fishing venue to plunder the resident Carp that frequently push the weights beyond 300lb!

Rolfs Lake Match Winner

Andy May - 3rd from Peg 30

Derek Williams had done his homework and fished shallow at 14m on peg 36 to take fish well into double figures in his match winning 345lb 12oz. Kev Arathoon took runners up spot from peg 13 as the highest of 13 tons with an unlucky 191lb - just 2 fish short of a double ton himself.

Andy May kept Kev honest with 176lb 8oz fishing tactics similar to the winners with spayed pellet at 15m on peg 30. Kev fished peg 13 with paste at 9m into some deeper water and kept his fish coming with plenty of loose feed.
