Today Rolfslake welcomed Boxmore Social Club to the lake, and the 18 anglers were very excited at the prospects of a good match with the usual banter and the hope of a good draw.
Most of the anglers wanted to fish one of the feature pegs ,either 8 ,32,15,or 23 as these had been in redhot form recently, and with the chance of breaking a personal best , the anglers were very eager to start the draw.
In first place today was Michael Twine ,who was fishing peg 7 in the small lake. Michael started the match catching silver fish ,and on one occasion when he was bringing a roach back in ,was startled when lots of elastic started comming out from his pole ,only to find out that Rolfs pet 32-00 pike had come for a roach snack.
