I got the following email from ETG. I've not edited it as I think it said everything that I wanted to say myself. For those that don't know, Rolf was rushed into hospital early on in the week of the 16th and gave us all cause for concern. He continues to recover and is currently back home.
Hi Lloyd the results at rolfslake for the 16th may.
1st mick lane peg 10 352lb pole fishing shallow meat pellet new pb.
2nd rob kite peg 9 195lb pole fishing shallow worm pellet
3rd john bennett peg 34 pellet/meat /paste feeder/ pole down the margin.
4th eddie taylor-green peg 7 151lb feeder/pole 5mtr far bank meat /paste
weather warm sunny but with no rolf down on the lake the mood of the wednesday guys was very subdued ,and i can only imagine rolfs face when he turned his phone on and the load of good will text messages that popped up, he must still be reading them.
Special mention to john Bennett who has and is doing a great job in rolfs absence, because without good guys like john there is no fishing for us all, well done mate.
P.S special tip when playing fish, this is for Phil dont feed and let go of your top kit 2 when you have a fish on, as with 2 top 2s in the last two weeks going to the bottom, the season of lost/broken tackle has just begun
