Summer League Match 6 of 6 Reported by Eddy Taylor Green With the final round of the summer league at last here , and Rolfs Team Gold defending their points lead ,it was always going to be a tough ask for the chasing teams. With a nice day and a near full house ,weights were very good with 6 x 100lb weights ,4 x 200lb weights and 1x 300lb weight to finnish what has been a very competitive series.
Eddy Taylor Green - Today's Match Reporter. In first place today individually was System Signs angler Tony Taylor ,who had drawn super peg 15 and had an enjoyable 5 hours fishing to his right ,in the margins on the silt bank fishing and feeding pellet heavy for a super weight of 338-04 and a deserved win .In second place was Smithys angler Colin Wedgebrow who was on peg 26 in the big lake , and fished his customary short range 5 mtrs, to the bush to his left fishing banded 8-10 mm pellet feeding very heavy for a weight of 237-00. Completing the frame was Rolfs Team Gold member Barry Morgan who was on peg 38 in the small lake and who fished the margins long ,fishing pellet and again feeding heavy with pellet to record a weight of 233-08 and one of the top weights to come out of the small lake in the last 5 weeks. On the team front Rolfs Team Gold wrapped up the series with a win on the day to complete their total of 123 points so well done to John ,Phil and Mick. A special thanks to all the teams for making the league an enjoyable affair and also a very competitive one, roll on the winter league.
