Fished in Cooling Winds, the 2nd round of the Spring Le age was a real battle for bites. Clive Pritchard took advantage of peg 24 not fishing well and drew enough fish to take the match win with 74lb. The stand out weight of the day came from John Bennett on Peg 2 with 71lb 2oz in the shallows. Peg 2 is a long standing favourite of Rolfs in winter; John took full advantage. Else where it was a case of who could blow there joker; with only Mick Lane returning a 5+ pointer with the double point rule.
